Our Process
Our design process starts with a simple question. How? How can we upcycle plastic bags to creatively new forms of empowerment to local communities.
1. Plastic bag Collection
Our fist step is collecting waste plastic bags from Shopping malls, Schools, Office buildings and transform it into a unique & durable textile in our small workshop here in Addis Ababa.
2. Fabric making
We then sort, wash and hand-fuse the plastic bags into unique, highly durable material crafted to withstand industrial wear and tear.
3. Bag Production
We then sew the individual fused 'plastic bag' fabric to make unique pieces.
